We drift on the Sacred River into a mystical underground cavern. Within these dark waters you can see stars, galaxies, and portals to various spirit realms. And so it is this week is about learning to listen with an open mind and heart, because the Universe is always communicating and guiding us.
Last week’s lesson in becoming still is reinforced. When you have a meaningful conversation with someone, you try to pick a place that has few to no distractions. A safe and private environment encourages all to speak their minds with respect and candor. As you would do when you want to have a discussion with others, the same practice you must do when you want to communicate with your Sacred Self, your Spirit Guides, and the Universe.
Also, be observant about the various ways the Universe is sending you a message. Messages will be repeated over and over again when they are relevant. Various methods will be employed such as dreams, repeating numbers, or songs. Another very common tactic is to have different people who unknowingly are inspired to give you the same piece of advice.
Keep your mind open to receive what is being said to you. It is normal for your Spirit Guides to give you insights on topics that need your focus, but your mind is on other things. In addition, avoid asking the Universe the same question when you don’t like the answer. Should you persist with this, your Guides will fall silent. Instead, ask to be shown the best way to navigate a situation for the best possible outcome. Asking for clarification also is okay.
On the Good Red Road, all things should begin and end with gratitude. Just as you appreciate when someone expresses how thankful they are for your care and assistance, so it is with Those who walk with you seen and unseen. Part of showing your gratitude is applying the advice you have been given whenever appropriate. Doing so demonstrates you are willing to do your part with intelligence and goodwill.Dah-neh Ho!
