Flow of the River: Week of April 15, 2024

From the underground Cavern of the Worlds we are carried to where internal and external sound is magnified. Here, you will refine your ability to move quietly and mindfully.

Yes, it is much easier to do this practice in space that is peaceful and serene. However, for the vast majority of us, we exist in a world of endless noise and movement.

I would share with you, my friend, a truth that might help you. Walking peacefully and consciously through life is not a place, but a frame of Heart, being, and mind. Although it is simply stated, I fully realize that this is much harder in daily life.

The hum of harmony, which is the Song of the Universe, is ever present in your soul and can be found in our natural world. It is the havoc of humanity that produces the madness and unrest we collectively experience as “reality”. This cacophony sustains the illusion that we are separate from the Universal Song, and that it is difficult if not impossible to attain connection with it.

To overcome this, use spiritual techniques that teach you to connect with Oneness. These practices do not have to be tied to any religion or doctrine. They should spring from a place of universality. Once you are able to find within yourself that space where you feel your consciousness and energy flow with All That Is, you will be able to return to it always.

One of the simplest methods I know is to allow yourself to commune fully with nature. Relax, breathe deeply, and feel the life within you as it reunites with the Beauty around you. On the Good Red Road it is said in that moment of vibrant stillness, you are touching the face of the Great Spirit. When you are not able physically to visit these natural places, then re-create them in your mind’s eye. Coupling this with natural sounds or calming instrumental music is effective for energetically reconnecting you to this place of serenity.

A very common obstacle is that the mind is caught up in so many problems to the point that you feel that is your whole world. The stress can build to the point where you can’t relax or you become sick. If this happens, get things in perspective.

Ask yourself this: Does what is stressing me out today really matter in the great scheme of my life? More often than not, the answer is “no”. When the answer is “yes”, then remember that you don’t have to endure hardships alone. Ultimately, and although it may take effort, “this too shall pass”. Sometimes, helping others along (done in balance and mindfully), is another wonderful way to find joy and inner peace.

I’ve only touched the surface on these practices. Assisting others to find peace is something I enjoy doing and can write endlessly about. In closing, if you master this skill of walking quietly and mindfully, you’ll always find serenity and connection regardless of where you are or what is happening.

Dah-neh Ho! (It is finished!)

I know that the energy has been very tumultuous since the celestial events of April 8th. If you find that you need assistance to find greater peace, then please allow me to assist you with a shamanic tune-up, private mentoring, or a reading if you are seeking insight. You can always see where and when I’m available through my website’s calendar and schedule a time that is good for you.

I’ll be announcing the details of the free meditation early next week. I hope that many of you will join me to help send healing to our world and create balanced manifestation for yourself and your loved ones.
